Hey, love! You are referring to these, right?
I think that it can be taken bothways, I mean I find the scene very open to interpretation. I personally don’t find it to be a sorrowful scene because at this point Kuroko+Seirin have already taught Aomine defeat and have started to rekindle the fire in him.
I think this scene is important because he finally acknowledges Tetsu separately, away from what he had witnessed within the game. Those tears are about Kuroko always being what Aomine needed [imho] and him being happy for him.
I’m not saying he isn’t feeling regret, I am sure he is, wasting so many time closing himself off - but I think at this point he is genuinely happy for how far Kuroko has become since the first time he met him, and how obvious it should’ve been for him to see that he was always there [for him] and what he represented.
I think it’s more of a “Ah, it was always you” scene, which expresses relief because the answer to his question is finally answered.
But I think we can all have different interpretations of this scene, I definitely think there’s mixed emotions, and it just felt so out of character for him to cry like this in front of so many people [imho] that oneo f the reasons I could explain it was if he was doing it for Kuroko and for the happiness he felt for him.
